Don was such a nice gentleman - he always was so friendly and a bright light in our day when he stopped at the library. The entire library staff will miss him.

Dear Betty, Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family on the loss of Don. May God be your strenght and peace during this hard time. The little I (Sue) knew him I found him to be so kind and a gentle man. I only knew him through community events (I am a member of the community club also), Edith had the pleasure of getting to know him well through church. God Bless all of you, Sue Connor

Our Love goes out to you Betty and your family....We will miss seeing Don on his pontoon boat, waveing to us with his great big smile...I know he loved the lake as much as we do....You were wonderful neighbors to have... With Love, Peggy and Mike Sway.....PS, Peggy said it all but, I would like to add that Don was one of my favorite people to " bump into" because he always had a joke to tell. The jokes were somehow always original and funny and that's how I will remember him. My Dad died later the same day, so there will always be a connection...Mike

I was so sorry to read of Don's passing away. I will miss the friendly wave from the white van on Erickson Rd and the interest in keeping our lake healthy.

Dear Betty.
We will miss seeing Don whenever we worship at our Barnum church. We certainly wish Don could have lived a lot longer. Yet are thankful that he was one who lived while he was alive. Of course, this make our loss even greater because his life was so worthwhile.
God's love, blessings and sustaining power be with you and yours in the exalted, powerful, and loving Name of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior and Lord.
Love, joy and peace,
Earl and Marlene Almquist
