To all of Marilyn's Family, Marilyn was a volunteer in Cloquet awhile back and we had the pleasure to welcome her into our home to help care for my mother (Bernice Hanson). She always had a smile on her face and made momma feel safe and happy and was a great caregiver. She also made it possible for me as moms caregiver to have a break for a day or two. She also shared her dogs Wickett and JoJo with us, which brought us great joy as well as listening to her play the Violin . Another great memory was watching A.J.at Carlton Co. Fair in the tractor pull. So kind and caring and I'm sure she touched many hearts and lives. Such an angel she'll be missed bunches.
Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Lori Hanson and Bill Sariin

Marilyn and I were high school classmates and friends. After our last class reunion she invited me to visit her at her home in Cromwell. She made a delicious wild rice hot dish and we spent the afternoon eating and talking and eating some more. It was a perfect day and I was looking forward to doing it again maybe next summer. My heart aches for her family! She was such a loving mother and grandmother!

Marilyn and I went to high school together, we re-connected many years later when she was working at the Duluth News-Tribune and I was at MN Public Radio. We got to be good friends when we often "car-pooled" home from Duluth. One of my last visits with her was when we "lunched" for several hours at the Black Bear's Seven Fires restaurant. Will miss her terribly. Cynthia "Cindy" Johnson

Marilyn was one of my classmates sister and got to know her more with the quilting retreat in Cromwell. She was always friendly and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed. With this virus we have not been able to get together at the retreat and was hoping that this year we could get together again. Rest in peace Marilyn

As a "grown-up" next-door neighbor, Marilyn was a presence in my early years. My sympathies to her family -- especially Peggy (who is closer to my age).
